The Rees is a fantastic new apartment style development overlooking the lakes and mountains. It also have excellent service. Just a short drive from the city centre. This is a great place to stay or both Individuals and groups, particularly those looking for a longer stay. SE0909

Large modern lobby laid out as a luxurious lounge, with stunning features.
exterior
Modern exterior utilising local Otago stone and southern New Zealand timber built in 2007. Overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the picturesque mountains surrounding the lake.
restaurant
True South is the main dining room with a menu that changes monthly. Bordeau is the wine lounge that also serves light snacks. The chefs specifically show case local produce. The very extensive wine list is also a feature of the Rees.
rooms
The Hotel rooms are very spacious. Rooms have either a super king size bed, or twin single. Underfloor heating in all tiled areas and a balcony. All room have excellent view of the Remarkable's mountain range and the lake from the balconies. The bathrooms are beautifully decorated with European fittings and have a walk-in shower. LCD tv's are standard and have a broadband connection. The furniture is custom built by a local company and is a real feature of the hotel.
location
The Rees is located in Queenstown on the Lakefront edge of Lake Wakatipu. It's positioned so it has breathtaking views of the lake and of the Remarkables range of mountains.
