In the suburb of Fernhill three kilometres (2 miles) from the main central retail and entertainment area of Queenstown.
rooms
The rooms are medium in size and predominantly of twin bed configuration. Each room has a balcony and overlooks the courtyard entrance of the hotel. Decor is simple, the room facilities include TV with in-house movies, refrigerator, and tea/coffee facilities. See other listing for the Lake view rooms.
restaurant
The restaurant is located on the ground floor, with an a la carte menu as well as a buffet. The views from the restaurant are fantastic and there is an outside terrace area to enjoy a drink before dinner.
exterior
A 1960s, low rise alpine building, fully renovated in the late 1990s. The accommodation wings are built around a central courtyard area where guests' cars and coaches can park.
lobby
The lobby is small and a lounge bar and the restaurant are located adjacent.
general
A small, independent hotel excellent for those on a budget. Popular with tour groups and individuals. A car is useful but not essential. Very popular with skiers in the winter months. SE0808
