generalNational Center for Traditional Arts contains many folk art activities centered on diversified themes year-round. The historic street with it?s red brick and grey tiles recreates the nostalgic promenade along old Taiwanese city streets. Lined with artist studios, anyone can try their hand at folk arts such as top-spinning, clay-molding, and leather crafts. Besides DIY fun, relocated buildings such as House of Huang, Wen-chang Ancestral Temple, and Guang-hsiao Hall teach you about Taiwanese culture and history. The outdoor theater space, modern theater hall, traditional music hall, and library hold special cultural events year-round. The ?Definitely Taiwanese? Hall includes many eateries and traditional snack stalls.
