general
Still very Eastern European in style, this is nevertheless a good standard hotel in an excellent location.
lobby
The lobby is large and bustling with a wide selection of facilities and services, including a travel agency, a small bar, a gift shop and florist. There is also plenty of seats in the centre of the lobby.
exterior
This is an imposing multi-storeyed building, more modern tower block than hotel, and is a recognisable landmark on the Warsaw skyline.
restaurant
There are two restaurants at the hotel, the elegant 'Soplica' serving international cuisine and the spacious 'Maryla' offering local specialities. Both are on the ground floor.
rooms
The rooms are medium-sized and most are in good condition, having recently been renovated. The furniture and decor is bright, modern and comfortable, bathrooms are on the small side but in good condition.
location
The hotel is ideally situated in the very heart of Warsaw's busy commercial center. It is just opposite the infamous Palace of Culture and science and only 500 meters from the main railway station. The hotel is on the corner of two main roads, but set back from the noise and traffic.
