generalThe hotel is owned and managed by the Treacy family and has been refurbished to combine luxury with the elegance of a bygone age and to maintain the tradition of efficient service in a warm hospitable atmosphere.
here is family entertainment throughout the high season in the Riveroom or have a quite relaxing drink in either the Main Bar or the resident's Bar. There is a small external lounge which is suitable for smoking and watching sports TV in. A lovely hotel offering excellent value for money.
A perfect location for all visiting Waterford area. Only 15 minutes drive to Waterford Crystal and City. Great local transport between Tramore and Waterford. (05/07 RT)
lobbyThe lobby is medium in size and brightly decorated with a small seating area and reception desk. A bright conservatory to the front and side of the hotel where it is ideal for reading and relaxing.
exteriorThis is a traditional building with the hotel restaurant situated at the front. The hotel opened its doors in 1891 and for more than a century and a half its name has been linked with the grace and style of the era. It is a famous landmark in the centre of Tramore Town.
restaurantThe Doneraile restaurant with its panoramic view of the sea has become famous in Waterford for its excellent food and extensive menus. There is a wide variety of choice on offer including local specialties of seafood and steak's. The award wining chef cook's to order to suit all dietary requirements.
There is also an extensive bar lunch menu which is served in either of the bars, Duffy's Bar with Live entertainment or The Doneraile Bar.
roomsThe 83 bedrooms are all en-suite with direct dial telephones, multi- channel TV and hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities. The rooms are all in good condition as are the bathrooms.
