A great hotel for those travelling north or south on the A1, ideal for group or individual stopovers. There is also a bus running from near the hotel directly into Newcastle.
lobby
The lobby is large in size. There is ample seating available should you wish to use the lobby bar and coffee shop.
exterior
A rather plain looking building with no spectacular features.
restaurant
A large restaurant is located just off the lobby. A bright pleasant room with lots of plants and light colours giving it a mediterranian feeling. The restaurant offers both international cusine and local dishes.
rooms
All rooms are of a very high standard and large in size. Most of the rooms have been recently renovated with light wood furnishings and pastel coloured soft furnishings. All rooms have trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities along with other usual holiday in touches.
location
The hotel is located just of the A1 motorway in Washington, a supurb of Newcastle.
