There is a courtesy shuttle bus to and from Ponta Delgada. The Island of Sao Miguel has two splendid golf courses - one at Achada das Furnas, with 18 holes (20 minutes from the Hotel) and another one in Batalha, Fenais da Luz, with 27 holes (30 minutes from the Hotel).
