The Crowne Plaza is located very centrally on a busy road within walking distance of the train station and city centre.
rooms
The rooms are large and furnished to a very high standard and are very comfortable. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
restaurant
The restaurant is very elegantly decorated. It is very light and has a lot of plants. The "tiffany" bar is also furnished to a high standard and is very light due to the large windows. The bar itself is in dark wood and has tiffany style stained glass lamp shades.
exterior
It is a modern four storey building with the entrance set back off the road.
lobby
It has a large modern, attractively furnished lobby with leather sofas and marble floors encircled by the fresh green foliage of house plants. A feature of the lobby is a pair of English style public telephone booths.
general
A very high standard hotel, close to the city centre, within walking distance to the main train station. (07/08 LH)
