open-air lobby was designed after a wantilan, or village meeting place, with coconut-wood posts and a floor of cool Javanese marble alternating with local volcanic stone. Teak and coconut wood are used throughout the resort’s 30 free-standing suites and Amandari villa.

Amandari is designed as a Balinese village encapsulating the island's depth of tradition and creative inspiration. Surrounded by sacred land, Amandari is interwoven with the threads of its peaceful local culture. DS 02/08.

Amandari has been styled as a Balinese village, with river-stone walkaways, shrines, gardens and high paras-stone walls. Balinese-style gateways front each suite.
restaurant
Crafted largely of teak wood, the Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, specializing in Indonesian and Western dishes. The casual, two-story restaurant overlooks the swimming pool and the green valley beyond.

The Amandari Suite offers one or two detached bedrooms along with a separate living room pavilion. An outdoor dining bale of teak and bamboo is set within its spacious tropical garden. From the suite?s private swimming pool, guests enjoy picturesque views.
