generalAmandari is perfectly nestled in the heart of Bali's cultural sanctuary, in the lush, jade green sacred valleys of the island's hinterland. It is here, next to Ubud, that one can experience the intriguing layers of Bali's unique spiritual essence. DS 02/08.
lobbyopen-air lobby was designed after a wantilan, or village meeting place, with coconut-wood posts and a floor of cool Javanese marble alternating with local volcanic stone. Teak and coconut wood are used throughout the resort's 30 free-standing suites and Amandari villa.
exteriorAmandari has been styled as a Balinese village, with river-stone walkways, shrines, gardens and high paras-stone walls. Balinese-style gateways front each suite.
restaurantCrafted largely of teak wood, the Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, specializing in Indonesian and Western dishes. The casual, two-story restaurant overlooks the swimming pool and the green valley beyond.

All suites have large sliding glass doors which when fully opened offer a unique open-air atmosphere to the suite. The bathrooms, which are constructed out of teak wood and Javanese marble, feature an outdoor oversize sunken bathtub, double wash-basin vanities, shower and ample closet space.
