Independent Report
generalThe ranch is famous for its horseback riding program. There are several rides to choose from everyday with up to seven hours of horseback riding. The ranch is also small, intimate guest ranch, with emphasis on quietness, solitude and tranquility. Because of this, the ranch keeps the number of accommodation small (not more than 30 guests), so the atmosphere of serenity and romance is maintained. (03/08 SAL)
lobbyLobby is small and comfortable with cozy western country style.
exteriorThe 90 acre guest ranch headquarters, surrounded by the 10,000 acre cattle ranch, sit in the 100 square miles of the Dragoon Mountains National Forest. The Lodge buildings reflects the feeling and air of the old west.
restaurantMeals, served in the ranch's private dining room, are tasty, plentiful and nourishing with everything homemade from the thick, hearty soups to the delicious home-baked breads and desserts. Breakfast is cooked to order, lunch and dinner are served buffet style.
roomsCasitas accommodate up to five people. Accommodations are furnished in comfortable country style, offering magnificent views of the mountains, cozy, yet spacious. With individual furnishing, no two are alike. The casitas are free standing.
locationThe ranch, one hour and a half from Tucson, is located in the rugged Dragoon Mountains, near historic Cochise Stronghold, where the terrain varies from wooded rolling hills to mountains. This is a guest and working cattle ranch, rests in the heart of Arizona's old Apache Country. At a elevation of 5,000 ft (1,500 m). The ranch buildings nestled among plentiful groves of Arizona oak, monzanita, and mesquite are almost invisible in the wooded canyon with wild grapevines, which gives the ranch its name.
