The first hotel is located in the commercial district, a 43000 m2 opened-spaced park is within 5 minutes' walking distance, steps from MRT ZhongShan Station (10-15 minutes by walk) from which one can reach retail stores, a duty free shop, and fashion boutiques. 45 km from TaoYuan International Airport, 10 minutes' drive to Taipei Railway Station, 18 minutes' drive to the Taipei World Trade Centre, and Taipei 101 shopping area.

The rooms are medium in size, decorated with sculpted redwood furniture in Chinese style, and, though the rooms are a little old, but are maintained well. Some rooms have a balcony. The bathrooms have basic amenities.

There are 2 restaurants, Pung Yuan and Ning Yuan serving excellent provincial Chinese cuisine, in addition to a nice Teppanyaki restaurant in the basement and a coffee shop on the ground floor.
