Located on the lake at Te Anau, on the corner of Lake Front Drive and Mokoroa Street, the hotel is a 2 and a half hour drive (175 kilometres) from Queenstown and 160 kilometres to Milford Sound. Te Anau is the gateway to New Zealand's Fiordland and starting point for the Milford Track, one of the finest walks in the world.

The hotel's spacious rooms are well appointed the bedding configuration is 2 Queen beds. Room inclusions, TV, fridge, mini bar and tea/coffee makers. The bedrooms and bathrooms are in a good condition. These rooms face the garden and not the lake.
restaurant
The Mckinnon room Restaurant recently refurbished specialises in South Island local produce. The cocktail bar and guest lounge overlook the lake.

Probably the best location of any accommodation in Te anau. The rooms and service are above average standard. An excellent place to stay and enjoy the spectacular scenery and activities, from hiking and fishing to scenic boat trips and Glowworm caves. SE0710
