The hotel was built in the glamorous 1940's and completely renovated in 1990 and is possibly one of Taxco's most prestigious properties.

The hotel features a restaurant offering Mexican specialities and breathtaking city views.

The guest rooms are a little on the small side, but comfortable and cosy. They have pretty in room fireplaces and beautifully tiled baths. The street siderooms afford lovely (if noisy) views of Taxco, while those on the interior face the extensive and quieter gardens

The hotel has a hillside location with frequent mini buses to Taxco's main plaza.
