generalAlthough it has gone through a remarkable transition over the years, this delightful castle hotel still bears much testimony to the golden age of elegant and graceful living. Rooms still retain the original ornate ceilings, wood panelled rooms and a blazing open fire. The hotel is also located just 3 miles from many golf courses. (GW 09/2008)

exteriorStonefield Castle Hotel is an outstanding example of Scottish Baronial Architecture, built in 1837 as the once home of the Campbell family. In keeping with its unique setting and character, many of the original period features have been retained to complement the timeless ambience of the castle.
restaurantStonefield Castle's AA Rosette award winning restaurant will grant you the opportunity to sample the best of all that is Scottish with locally sourced beef and seafood a specialty. After dinner, you can choose to relax in the traditional elegance of the wood panelled bar, and in the chillier months perhaps a wee dram by the blazing open log fire.
