roomsOversized rooms all with a microwave & fridge. All suites have pillow top mattresses. All doubles have queen size beds. All singles have a King bed and a pullout couch. All rooms have a table/chairs/ dresser bureau and 27 inch television. All 2, 3, & 4th floor rooms on the east side of hotel overlook the vast Gertens Greenhouse fields with the river valley and skyline in view.
locationCentrally located near downtown Saint Paul and the Mall of America and MSP international airport, 15 minutes to downtown Minneapolis. Easy freeway access to all popular attractions. Great location with 8 restaurants, a 16 screen movie theatre, convenience store, liquor store, hair, tanning and nail salon, gourmet coffee & gift shop and the largest family owned nursery and greenhouse in the United states all within walking distance of the hotel. Robert Street corridor is two miles away w/many shopping and dining venues.

lobbyLarge two-story lobby with full length windows, a large conversation area in front of the brick fireplace. Comfortable and cozy seating throughout. Recliners with good lighting for reading. Central wooden staircase with oak trim and banisters leads to the second floor and then overlooks the lobby. 27 inch television.
exteriorBrick and wood siding exterior, landscaped, large free parking area, surrounded by wooded land, with an outdoor patio tucked into the wooded area with a propane grill. A weekly All Guest Reception is held on the patio serving grilled food, snacks and beer wine & soda. Not uncommon to catch a glimpse of deer, wild turkey, fox and many small wildlife and birds.
restaurantApplebees, Khoury's Family Restaurant with patio seating, Outback Steakhouse, Old World Pizza, Major's Sports Bar & Grill, Quizno's Sub Sandwiches, all within walking distance. Two blocks down hill is McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, China Delight Buffet.Trevina's Restaurante is 1 mile away and is located in a beautifully restored historic building with guilded ceilings, and fantastic, upscale Italian food, very reasonably priced. There is also a nightclub located above the restaurant called Valentinos. One mile to Robert Street which has too many dining and shopping to list all but it should be noted there is an Old Country Buffet that caters to large groups as well as a large Golden China Buffet that also works well for large groups. The luxury charter yacht, the Spirit of Saint Paul, departs from the River Heights Marina on the Mississippi River and is just two miles away.
