Located 10 minutes from Tanjung Pagar MRT Station, Singapore's National heritage area, 5 minutes drive to Chinatown and the Central Business District, the hotel sits amongst pre-war (WWII) double storey shop houses. 10 minutes drive to Orchard Road.

Deluxe Room size is 28 sqm. Being old Straits Chinese trading houses so no two rooms are alike. Some rooms are irregularly shaped due to the original floor plan. The rooms are very well appointed with pastel colored walls and European themed furnishing. All rooms are equipped with coffee/tea making facility and individually controlled air-conditioning.

A deluxe French restaurant, reputed to be one the best in Singapore-L'Aigle d'or.
exterior
The hotel occupies former shop houses built before the second world war in typical Chinese style design but immaculately restored to its former splendour. The surrounding is quaint and served by a busy narrow street lined with upmarket offices and pubs.

As can be expected in a historical boutique hotel, the lobby is small but cosy with European style furnishing.
