general
A decent hotel that provides easy access to the river and the activities along the river. Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to Orchard Road and Chinatown. sg 02/08
lobby
The lobby is large and bright with lot of exterior light from full-length windows. The flooring is done in marble with some pillars. The coffee house sit on to the left, the Japanese restaurant on the right and the check in counter is straight ahead from the entrance.
exterior
The hotel is one in a cluster of hotels in the River Valley junction. The hotel is white and very rectangular in design. The building is instantly identified by the huge sign in red on the rooftop with the hotel name.
restaurant
The coffee house on the lobby level serves local and western cuisine. On the other side of the lobby is the Japanese restaurant serving a great variety of Japanese cuisine.
rooms
The rooms are of comfortable size; the room comes in royal blue, maroon or dark blue colour carpet. A 20 inch TV sits on one side of the long working desk. All double room have a king size bed and 2 super single size beds are provided in twin room. The toilet is spacious; it comes with a long bath. Hotel is unable to commit exact room type upon making a booking but will try their best to assign requested room type upon check in.
location
Conveniently situated in the heart of Singapore's commercial and financial hub. Hotel lies in close proximity to the Chinatown and Orchard Road. Within walking distance are the quay projects along the river of Robertson Quay, Clarke Quay and a little further, Boat Quay. The quays have been revived with restaurant, shops and entertainment. Also just across the road is Mohd Sultan Road which is the epicenter of night life and late night clubbing.
