This is a very traditional hotel, the building dating back as far as 1618. Located on the street, the brick building has a small porch at the entrance with Golden Lion statue, (the symbol of the hotel) above the entrance.

The hotel offers a wide variety of cuisine in a relaxed setting.

All the rooms are en-suite with radio, colour television, telephone, trouser press and hair dryer, tea/ coffee making facilities. All are comfortably furnished and oak beams are a traditional feature.
