The medium sized lobby is elegantly decorated and furnished in keeping with its historical style.

It is an impressive historical building dating back to 1929.

There are numerous restaurants and bars in the hotel, all serving the high-class cuisine one would expect from a hotel of this standard. The hotel also features the well-known 'Old Jazz Band', a group of Jazz veterans who play in the hotel's English-style bar nightly.
rooms
The hotel owns 318 beautifully furnished rooms in North building, all are carefully preserved in their original 1930's style. Deluxe rooms are more spacious and more elegantly decorated. Some of the rooms have spectacular view of the Bund.
location
Adjacent to the famous Bund, the hotel is ideally located in the city center within walking distance to the Nanjing road, the city's most flourishing commercial and shopping area.
