locationThis hotel is located in the heart of Santiago de Compostela which is the politic and geographical centre of Galicia. It is close to all the shops and places of interest. Just 10 kilometres away from the airport and 35 kilometres from the coast. The area where the hotel is found is one of the most elegant in the city.
roomsIt offers single, double, suites and junior suites which add up to 73 rooms in total. All of them are fully equipped including marbled bathroom with hair dryer and bathrobe. The accommodation at this hotel is of a very high standard almost the best in town. The rooms vary in decoration but all are elegant, stylish, comfortable and spacious.
restaurantThe a la carte restaurant serves delicious dishes prepared with local produce. Seafood is specially marvellous. One can also try the traditional Ribeiro which is the local wine with the chefs suggestions. There is also a very nice bar on the lower floor also open to the public where tapas and some other meals are also available.
exteriorThe hotels is housed in a corner shaped traditional building in light marble. It is quite a reference in the area.
lobbyIt is medium sized and traditionally decorated and furnished with nice settees, tea tables, carpets and a fountain in the centre underneath the beautiful staircase leading to the upper floors just opposite the lifts. There is also an internet corner available.
generalThe hotel provides full facilities to hold meetings, conferences, celebrations, as well as swimming-pool, garage, gym, out door swimming-pool (summer only) and bar-cafeteria. It is a great choice for those exploring this ancient and beautiful city.07/08MP
