Kakslauttanen Glass Igloos are located in the Saariselka fell area amidst beautiful Lapland scenery in the vicinity of Urho Kekkonen National Park. The hotel has excellent connections and is easily accessible from the nearby Highway 4. Ivalo Airport is just 35 Kilometers away and scheduled buses stop right outside the hotel.

20 Glass Igloos have been spaced out carefully on a hillside with full panormic views of the skyline. A once in a lifetime opportunity to admire the northern lights in the most natural of locations, and the millions of stars spread across the crystal clear sky. Built from a special thermal glass, the temperature inside the igloo always stays a normal level. It also prevents the glass from getting white frosted, hence keeping the view clear even when the temperature outside drops to under minus 30 C. Every igloo is equipped with a toilet and luxury electric beds that move at an angle at the press of a button.
