In the centre of the city. Directly opposite from the Rotorua Convention Centre. A 20 minute drive from the city airport. Only a few minutes from the Lake.

A great centrally located historical hotel. Excellent refurbishment and high quality furnishings and service. the apartments represent excellent value. SE0609
lobby
A medium sized lobby decorated in classic style with a grand chandelier and stained glass windows. There are some armchairs and a small table in the lobby.
exterior
An historical Wooden two storey colonial period building. Originally built in 1897 in the township of Waihi. The hotel was moved to Rotorua in 1921.
restaurant
The Memories Restaurant is like a step back in time to the beginning of the 20th Century. Chandeliers and fine Kauri ceilings make the restaurant stand out in the city. Serving the finest New Zealand and international cuisine.
rooms
All rooms are individually decorated. Some rooms have four-poster beds, other have their own fireplaces. All rooms include the usual amenities such as direct dial telephone, mini-bar, TV, Radio, Hair dryers and tea/coffee facilities. The rooms are spacious and historical in style. Nearly all bathrooms are shower and bathtub, there are a small number of rooms that are shower only.
