Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin is the best Costa Rican ecotourism lodge for adventure travel and nature lovers, located at the foot of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, near the town of Curubande, in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Hacienda Guachipelin is a down-to-earth, yet comfortable hotel catering to nature lovers and adventure travelers. There are 52 rooms from where you can enjoy, during the day, the views of the volcano and the hacienda, and relax at night with the real sounds of nature. Outside, wide and inviting verandahs await for sharing afternoon chats with fellow travelers. The Standard Rooms are located near the Reception Area, the Swimming Pool and the Bar, and the Cattle Corrals. All the rooms have two beds, either two doubles or one double and one single. Each room has a safe deposit box, and a private bathroom with hot water heated by the sun on solar panels.

We are known for our great service, and for having the best food in the area, combining typical national dishes, with international cuisine. From our restaurant La Hacienda you can enjoy the views of the Guanacaste lowlands, the city of Liberia, the Liberia International Airport and the coastal lines, or see the vaqueros working with the cattle in the fields. It opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The reception area and the bar by the swimming pool are housed in a building more than a century old, part of the original Hacienda.
