locationIdeally located on the sandy beaches of the outskirts of Rethymno, this famous award-winning hotel is ideally placed for a luxurious beach holiday near the city of Rethymno.
roomsThe family rooms are luxuriously furnished and decorated, with high quality carpets, fabric and linen and an air of quality and luxury everywhere in the room. They can accommodate a family of 4 in a large, open plan area and are equipped with fridge, air conditioning, satellite tv and a view to the gardens or the mountains. Some are in the bungalow area of the gardens and some are in the main building.
restaurantThe main restaurant and taverna offer a variety of international and Greek dishes. There is a dedicated Cretan speciality taverna that serves only Cretan recipes. Also a traditional kafeneion, the legendary Greek cafe where locals hang out and also a brasserie, a pool bar and a main bar.
exteriorIt is a four storey purpose built imposing construction, with a Venetian arched entrance. It is surrounded by lush gardens dotted by Cretan style bungalows.
lobbyThe lobby is large, and houses a number of shops such as a jewellers, an antique lyra maker (the traditional Cretan musical instrument) and the Guest Relations desk. The hotel is mostly wheelchair friendly, however the existence of a companion is advised at all times.
