This hotel is located just a stone's throw from Reykjavik's main shopping street, Laugavegur on one side and the harbour on the other. Despite being right in the centre of town the hotel is in a surprisingly peaceful postion.
rooms
The economy rooms are small. They are all on the top floor of the hotel and consequently have slopping ceilings and small windows. They are in good condition though, as are the bathrooms and good quality furniture ensures a comfortable stay.
restaurant
The hotel's breakfast room is located just off the reception area. It is simply decorated and cosy-looking.
exterior
The hotel has an ultra-modern metal-clad facade.
lobby
The modern lobby is small and simple with a tiled floor and modern reception desk.
general
This hotel could not be better located, enjoying a central, yet peaceful, position. Although it is not Reykjavik's most charming hotel, its modern functionality can't fail to impress and for those on a tight budget this hotel is hard to better. RY0106
