The resort is located on Rarotonga Island in the Cook Islands which consists of 15 islands in the sparkling Pacific Ocean. The islands hold fascination to scientists who study it's volcanic origins. Rarotonga is a raised island cone with rainforest leading down to a barrier reef. Inhabited by Polynesians, it was a British protectorate from 1888 and eventually became a New Zealand dependency in 1901. In 1960's The Cook Islands became a self governing state.

These rooms are located on the beachfront, with direct access to the beach and lagoon. Rooms feature air-conditioning, local TV, a DVD player and CD player. Each unit has a kitchenette (with microwave, jug, toaster and electric pan), a king size bed, a spacious lounge with a patio or balcony. Wireless Internet boradband is available in all rooms and public areas.

Sandals Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Barefoot Bar for casual drinks. Friday nights, a traditional island feast is prepared.
