The championship links golf course was designed by Bernhard Langer and is one of Ireland's premier courses. Rounds can be booked at reception. The health and fitness centre is equipped with agym, sauna, steam room, massge and beauty salon. A relaxing and luxurious retreat away from the bustle of Dublin city centre. (06/2007 BL)

The lobby area is extremely large and spacious.
exterior
The main building was formerly the home of the Jameson family, of Irish whiskey fame. It was converted to a luxury hotel in 1996 with the addition of modern annexes.
restaurant
The fine dining restaurnt is housed within the main building and is small and intimate, featuring paintings by Walter Osborne, after whom the restaurant was named. there is also an informal restaurant adjacent to the club house and an oak pannelled lounge bar.
rooms
The rooms are all furnished to a very high standard and have mineral water, trouser press, hair dryer, cable TV, tea/ coffee making facilities as standard.
location
The hotel is situated on a 208 acre site on the beach of Portmarnock. It is 20 minutes from Dublin airport and 30 minutes from the city centre. It is surrounded by 2 fantastic and famous golf courses.
