This is a 3 star resort and considered as a Tourist class of property, suitable for holidays. Samosir island is around 45 minutes away by ferry. The area is inhabited by the Batak people, more specifically the Batak Toba and Batak Simalungun tribes. North Sumatra is rich and diverse cultural heritage. (JH 15/12/2008)
