Independent Report
generalIn its interior, the guests will see the extraordinary horse carriage built in the early XVIII century as well as a beautiful porters chair. The courtyard also lodges an original collection of carriages as well as one of the fountains which was designed by the painter Luis Paret to mark the introduction of running water in Pamplona. This exceptional hotel offers its guests a unique balance between the comfort of a modern luxury hotel and the history and charm of an emblematic 18th century building. It also offers three magnificent meeting rooms with natural light and views over the inner courtyard.MP09/09

exteriorBuilt in the XVIII century by Don Sebastian de Eslava, Viceroy of New Granada (1685-1759), Palacio Guendulain is one of the most prominent buildings in Pamplona, located in the old part of town. After serving as a family residence for over two centuries in 1845 Queen Isabel II stayed in the Palace with her entourage converting the house into a royal residence for a few days.
restaurantThe gastronomic restaurant is also located on the main floor and enjoys pleasant views over the Consejo Square.
roomsThe hotel due to the layout of the historic building where it is housed provides accommodation in only 25 rooms but all equipped and furnished up to a deluxe standard.
locationThis charming and unique hotel is located in the old part of Pamplona just 100 metres from the city centre, 6 kilometres from the airport and 2 kilometres from the train station and the worldwide known University of Navarra clinic. Even though being a 4 star hotel this property could easily be a deluxe property due to the nature of the building and the exquisite taste present in every corner of the hotel areas.
