The hotel is set in 48 acres of woodland, overlooking the town of Pitlochry. The hotel epitomises Scottish baronial splendour.

The hotel has several Spacious lounges with log fires and chandeliers. There is an outdoor heated pool, sauna and solarium, and all weather tennis Courts. From the outside the building is very traditional and looks like a Castle.
