Piazza Armerina, is located in the heart of Sicily. Situated in the middle of Sicily, away from the main cities of Palermo, Agrigento, Taormina, Siracusa, Caltagirone, Ragusa. Its tourist attractions, monuments and wonderful hospitality will make your stay unforgettable. The monuments, the churches, the old buildings in baroque style make a wonderful artistic city. The hard and resistant stone used to build the city has granted long life and good preservation to its buildings. Walking through the small street of the town centre, the tourist is immerged in a past splendours- atmosphere. Piazza Armerina is at 720m above the sea level. Its peculiar geographic position between the Erei Mountains and the presence of woods near the town, make Piazza Armerina’s weather typically Mediterranean. The Natural Reserve of the Bellia Rossomanno Grottascura includes 20km of woods planted after a reforestation program that started at the beginning of last century woods. Piazza Armerina’s typical dishes are very simple and healthy. The meat, vegetables, cheese are still prepared like centuries ago. The wine is strong and high quality. The olive oil produced in this area is really tasty and famous. Piazza Armerina is the best starting place to visit Sicily.

a Benedectine monastery constructed in the 13th century and then used as a farmhouse for centuries, proprietors Elio and Laura Savoca have beautifully restored this ancient property into a flourishing Agriturismo. The restoration has been made to complement the traditional architecture of Gigliotto, with its expansive courtyard, arched entryways, and high beamed ceilings.

This is a unique farm hotel located in the interior village of Sicily . The services offered here are varied and many: horseback riding, hiking.
