Minerva Resort Hotel is close to the sea and at only 2000 m from the archaeological site of Paestum. In about 600 B.C. the Greek founded the city and called it Poseidonia in honour to the god of the Sea. The Doric temples that they left behind are the vivid testimonies of the glorious past and one of today’s best preserved temples. The beautiful and spectacular coastlines, with rugged cliffs, beaches and aquamarine sea are in perfect harmony with the flavours of this land, famous for the artichoke of Paestum and for the Buffalo mozzarella cheese produced only in Campania.
