lobbyThe hotel has a very discreet entrance leading into the reception area. At first glance, it appears to be a trendy bar/lounge as the reception desk is somewhat hidden.Inspired by 20th century Nairobi, the lobby features an eclectic mixture of original and vintage furniture; surfaces made from velvets, suede, and furs; and treated brass and aluminum. Just past the lobby, the legendary Round Bar, now known as Bar 44, offers an intimate setting with views extending from the entrance and lobby to the cream-toned leather walls of Brasserie 44, the latest eatery by John McDonald of the acclaimed Lever House
