This hotel is situated on a hill side overlooking the Shannon estuary and is a sister hotel of the West County in Ennis. It shares the same grounds as the exclusive Dromoland Castle hotel.

All of the bedrooms have mini-bar and are air-conditioned. They have all been furnished with rich fabrics and colours. They will all be of medium size and in very good order.
restaurant
There are two restaurants - an a la carte and a grill room which are both relaxed and informal, they serve a menu varying monthly but always containing fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
exterior
The hotel is a modern low lying block built in 1968.
lobby
The lobby is medium in size and is well decorated.
