The best hotel in the city, it was purpose built to cater for lesiure travellers and is ideal for those wanting to explore the City and the nearby famous and beautiful Abel Tasman national park. For those wanting a more relaxing time the hotels swimming pool and health centre offer a more pampered stay. This hotel is completely no smoking now including all bedrooms and public areas. SE0308

A large and grand lobby with a large reception desk and an impressive sweeping central staircase. There is also a retail outlet of the world famous Hoglund Glass company adjacent to the lobby.

A nine storey 1970's building in concrete and glass.
restaurant
There are three main restaurants and a bar. There is the seafood restaurant Oceano, the Japanese restaurant, Miyazu and the Rutherford cafe and bar. The "port o call" bar is a nautically themed place to relax.

Large well appointed rooms with the ameneties one would expect from a four star hotel. Bath robes, Iron and ironing board, hair dryer, tea/ coffee facilities, cable tv and mini-bar. All rooms are non smoking.
