When in New Orleans, you'll want to stay in a hotel that makes you feel like you're there. Location is the most important thing in selecting a hotel, and location is the most impressive attribute of the hotel. Elegant medium size lobby with an antique crystal chandeliers, a casually elegant atmosphere, and a white marble promenade the length of the building create a feeling of intimacy not found in today's contemporary hotels. Beveled and arched glass windows, shiny brass and warm rich colors have become a trademark of the hotel.

Lacy iron balconies and arches grace the historic exterior of this now famous landmark. Covering a full city block between Chartres and Royal Streets, and facing the imposign facade of the Supreme Court Building, the Hotel has won many awards, including the coveted Vieux Carre Honor award for historic restoration.

The restaurant has been the haunt of literary greats, and infamous politicians for generations. Truly the place to "see and be seen" in New Orleans.
