generalArguably the best resort on Mombasa's beaches. The hotel provides entertainment on selected evenings, has a beautiful swimming pool right next to the beach, fully equipped spa and gymnasium, mini golf, four floodlit tennis courts, two air conditioned squash courts, volley ball court, water sports, a hair salon, souvenir shop and baby sitting on request. lobbyThe lobby is long and thin with a high ceiling and white washed walls making it very cool and airy. The reception area has a clay tiled floor and the check-in desk is to the left as you enter. Cool drinks are offered to guests on check in.
exteriorSet amongst 20 acres tropical gardens the hotel is a series of white washed buildings with beautiful arches at the resort's entrances and windows. Typical of the Arabic buildings in East Africa this is one of the east coast's most beautiful resorts.
restaurantThe resort has a choice of three restaurants. One offers fresh seafood and has a sand floor, the other has a choice of buffet style dinner and there is a very good cafe offering a good choice of snacks and drinks.
roomsGarden rooms all offer views over the resort's landscaped gardens towards the Indian Ocean. Each room keeps with Swahili style of the property, with balconies, winding stairways and brass-inlaid furniture. Each room large in size and equipped with modern facilities, such as satellite television, mini bar, safe, hair dryer and internet connectivity.
