The Rica is located in beautiful surroundings near the fjord, it is just a short 05 minute walk to the downtown shopping area.
rooms
The rooms are small but in very good condition throughout. They are compact but well furnished in a comfortable but simple style. The modern bathrooms are also in very good condition.
restaurant
The restaurant occupies both the ground and balcony levels of the main building. It is decorated with pine wood furnishings and warm Scandinavian colours.
exterior
It is a modern low rise hotel of wooden construction consisting of a large main building which houses the lobby and restaurant and 02 wings which radiate out from the main building where the guestrooms are located.
lobby
There is a large lobby based on the concept of a Lappish "Kotta" or tent. It is a grand open plan style centering around a large open plan fire place.
general
A good summer hotel in a much sought after destination and location. RY12/06
