locationHoliday Inn Simonovsky is located in a quiet area of Moscow but is still central. The hotel is just a few minutes from Paveletskaya railway and underground station - ideal for guests arriving via the airport express train. The main sights of Moscow, such as Red Square and the Kremlin are within easy reach. The hotel also overlooks the adjacent onion domes of Novospasskiy Monastery. This is of immense historic interest as it was the first monastery to be founded in Moscow. The hotel is also near the river. Consequently, the area has a feel of tranquility, space and calm that is often absent from other central Moscow locations.
restaurantThe contemporary 'Sanctuary' hotel restaurant offers a wide range of both Russian and international dishes in a peaceful setting. A buffet breakfast is available in the morning, or guests can enjoy lunch or dinner. Major sports events are sometimes screened during the evening.
exteriorThe hotel was built in 2009 so it is contemporary in design. Unusually among Moscow properties the hotel is built only several storeys high because it is situation in an area of historical interest. It is adjacent to the Novospasskiy Monastery, the first monastery in Moscow.
