locationWorld renowned Hermitage hotel in the Mount Cook national park is the only hotel in this area. Located at the foot of New Zealand's highest mountain - Mount Cook has some of the best walks in the world usually from late October to late March. However for the more adventurous the low season has its own attraction with less people. The National park, is approximately 330km south of Christchurch and 280 kms north of Queenstown.

roomsThe 40 Superior rooms (formerly known as the Wakefield wing) are located over four floors of the hotel and each has a private balcony or patio looking out to Mt Cook. Bedding configuration is available as 2 Queen size bed accommodating a maximum of 4 people per room. Room amenities include; tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers, refrigerator, satellite tv channels and direct dial phones.
