locationThis is a beach-front hotel, close to the main business district and just 15 minutes from the airport. It is located in the heart of the residential, government and diplomatic area.
roomsThe medium sized rooms are well appointed with an in-room safe, remote control television, movie and satellite channels, direct-dial telephones, bathroom telephone, dual voltage power points, minibar, bathrobes, laundry and valet service and 24 hour room service. All rooms are in good condition.
restaurantThere are various dining options and these include an informal restaurant featuring international and Mediterranean cuisine, a speciality restaurant featuring South East Asian and South Pacific cuisine and seafood, a lounge serving afternoon tea, snacks and drinks, a pastry shop offering a wide range of bread, pastries, cakes, cookies and quiches, a live music bar serving English pub/style food, including fish and chips, pies and steaks, a pool terrace snackbar, a restaurant serving French Polynesian style cuisine with an outdoor terrace and a Mexican themed restaurant with cocktail bar, dance floor and live entertainment. A dining extravaganza!
exteriorThis is a high-rise building with plenty of parking to the front.
lobbyThe very large atrium lobby has the reception to the right and a cafe in the centre. There is plenty of elegant seating available.
generalThere is a health club with a 25 metre outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, plunge pool, gym, aerobics studio and juice bar. Further, there is a volleyball court, a billiard room, tennis courts, squash courts, fitness equipment and watersports.This is one of the most well known of Muscat's hotels and indeed one of the best.
