There are plenty of leisure and sports facilities such as health club, 25 metre outdoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, massage, beauty salon, tennis courts, mini golf, driving range, sailing, jogging trail, beach volley ball courts, wind surfing, kayak, scuba diving, sailing. lobby
The very large lobby features white marble flooring and beautiful mosaic tiled walls. This is without doubt one of the most impressive lobbies in the world. The dome shaped ceiling is so large and is in the style of a huge mosque. In the centre of the lobby there is a fountain and to the left the guest relations desk and reception. The whole lobby is extremely luxurious and should appeal even to those with the most discerning taste.
exterior
The hotel is a high-rise building in a sandstone colour surrounded by a beautiful garden. To the rear of the hotel there are the mountains and to the front there is a large beach. The surroundings are simply stunning.
restaurant
Al Marjan - the best of French cuisine with extensive wine list and a sweeping view of the Al Bustan Bay. Al Khiran - informal modern theme restaurant overlooking the gardens. Al Maha Piano Bar - light snacks, the finest cocktails and liqueurs. Pool Bar - open daily. Al Hamra Supper Club - Night club, traditional Lebanese food served.

The rooms are large in size, elegantly furnished and in exceptional condition. These style of rooms are Arabic in style, with more traditional touches of elegance. All rooms have remote control television with movie and satellite channels, video, direct dial telephones, bathroom telephone, voice mail, dual voltage power points, bathrobes, minibar and in-room safe.
location
The hotel has a beach-front location and is just 10 minutes from the city centre and financial district, Ruwi. It is just 41 kilometres or a 35 minute drive from Seeb (Muscat) International Airport, via Muscat's excellent road network.
