Mission Beach is almost half way between Townsville and Cairns in tropical North Queensland - just 1.5 hours easy drive south of Cairns and 2.5 hours north of Townsville. Perched high on the point above Mission Beach, amid the rainforest with views of white sandy beaches, Dunk & The Family Group of islands and the Great Barrier Reef. In the area there is snorkelling, fishing, sailing, water skiing, jet skis, golf, tennis, rainforest walks, white water rafting. Coaches run from Cairns into Mission Beach three times a day.
