locationThe hotel is located in a unique location in the small village of Cademario high above Lugano. This gives the hotel fantastic views over the valley and lake below as far as Milan. The hotel is a short 10 minute drive from Lugano and the lake front or alternatively a short 20minute bus ride. (Please note for groups only busses of 10m or less can pass on the road upto the hotel)
roomsThe rooms are all differing in sizes due to the nature of the age of the building. The rooms are in fair condition as are the bathrooms, and are decorated in a traditional style with wooden furniture. These rooms also have fantastic views of the lake.
restaurantThe hotel serves a mixture of cuisine and has a terrace with fantastic views over the surrounding areas.
exteriorThe hotel is a traditional building with many windows and coloured cream.
lobbyThe hotel lobby is directly on the left, after entering the hotel. The view from the windows, as one enters, down over the valley are nothing less than superb.
generalThis hotel is nestled in acres of its own parkland and has been used for many years as a retreat hotel. There are many walks that clients can do, while enjoying the surrounding countryside. The hotel has a spa and treatment area and clients will find entrace to the facilities free during the winter season, but there is a small charge during the summer. The hotel provides an entertainment package of daily activities, including walking, gymnastic, aqua aerobics to name a few, these are included in the price.
