A good hotel with friendly service and an excellent location. The hotel also has a walled garden which is very quiet with steps up to an outdoor pool. 0808MW

The lobby is medium sized. Once checked-in, guests take a lift up to the 1st floor where there is plentiful seating and a comfortable bar.

This is a large, traditional building.
restaurant
There is a cosy restaurant with a tiled floor and central skylight, plus a bar with comfortable seating and large windows. The hotel also has a terrace and gardens where guests can enjoy a drink.
rooms
Due to the historical nature of the building (it was originally a monastary) the rooms vary considerably in size and shape. They are all decorated in traditional style though this also varies from room to room. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition. Some of the rooms have air conditioning. All our rooms have bathroom with bathtub or shower and hairdryer, color TV, safety box, Internet (subject to charge) and direct dial telephone.
location
This is a 100-year family tradition since 1906, is the right hotel for holidays as well as for business stays. It is the only hotel on the lake promenade in the centre of Lugano, with it's own indoor parking, restaurant, meeting rooms, garden with swimming-pool and terrace.
