generalThis is a superb hotel, set in a fantastic location. The entire hotel has been totally refurbished during 2009, and just re-opened in May 2009. A stunning hotel in the central of London. Highly recommended.
lobbyThe lobby and reception area is certainly 'different' and exclusive, with its marbled floor and reception desk, red reception and wall decorations. A beautiful access to the hotel that screams class and exclusivity. An arch leads to the adjacent drawing room, a large and beautiful room decorated in classic style where the longest list of tea types in England can be enjoyed.
exteriorThe hotel is made up of seven converted and connected Victorian town houses with an stunning flanked by columns.
restaurantThe restaurant reproduces the style and feeling of a Country Club, with green leather sofas and bookcases everywhere. It's a brand new, newly refurbished restaurant that serves modern continental cuisine. The cocktail bar, with its wood paneling, slate floors, distressed mirrors and blue glass ceiling is a great place to enjoy a drink.
roomsAll the rooms are in excellent condition, having been completely refurbished in 2009. They are all of good size and richly decorated using luxurious fabrics and furniture. The decor mixes grand period features with designer items, to create a unique and wonderful style. All rooms boast a 37inch LCD TV, media hub, complimentary Wi-Fi, temple Spa aromatherapy and daily turn down service.The marbled bathrooms are also beautiful and in excellent condition.
locationThe hotel is centrally situated in the heart of upmarket and exclusive South Kensington, close to the museums, Albert Hall,Harrods and Harvey Nichols.
