generalThis hotel is one of the most famous in London. Currently undergoing a major refurbishment, some of the public areas in the hotel are closed off for refurbishment, with the property is set to relaunch in 2007. (0906RP)
lobbyIt has recently been refurbished to a very high standard, and it features marble flooring , an elegant open fire and an abundance of antique furniture and pictures.
exteriorA traditional hotel built in red brick on the site of the old Grosvenor House which was the home of the Duke of Westminster. It was one of London's first grand hotels and remains one of the most famous in the world.
restaurantThe hotel has three restaurants, the Restaurant overlooking Hyde Park serves traditional English food, the other serves Italian food. The best restaurant is decorated with antiques and paintings from Lord Forte's private collection, serves award winning french cuisine cooked by world famous chef Nikko.
