generalThis is a traditional English hotel which is both discreet and luxurious. The Hotel has been recently renovated and given new life, the location is excellent and is well situated for travellers wishing to stay in the heart of London. (0408RPL)
lobbyThe lobby is very small and consists of a tiny wooden reception desk and original mosaic flooring. It is designed to ensure guests feel at home, and not in a large hotel.
exteriorIt is a traditional Victoria building which is very elegant. The hotel entrance is very discreet with a large wooden door framed by pillars and a Union Jack flag hung over the entrance.
restaurantThe Edwardian restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes. It is traditional in design and serves traditional English food. The restaurant benefits from air conditioning. There is also a drawing room which is sumptuously decorated and is famous for afternoon tea.
roomsAll of the bedrooms have been designed to provide comfort and tranquillity. The Contemporary Deluxe rooms and suites combine modern day comforts and decor with original features and the atmosphere still typical of the Edwardian era when the hotel was originally built. All King sized beds or Twin beds Contemporary Deluxe rooms are located in the first and second floors and have just been recently decorated. The bathrooms are completely marbled and are very well equipped. These Deluxe rooms are larger than all other Edwardian and Contemporary rooms and many of them overlook Cadogan Place and Cadogan Gardens.
locationSituated on Sloane Street opposite Cadogan Gardens. This hotel is a few minutes walk from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and the exclusive designer stores in Knightsbridge.
