A delightful proprty that is ideal for those not wanting the direct noise of the airport yet wanting to be within very close proximity. GH 03/09

The lobby area is very long and spacious although the ceiling is quite low. The hotel boasts a very warm atmosphere.
exterior
The hotel is centred around a 16th century farmhouse and the atmosphere created is very 'olde-worlde' with oak beams and log fires
restaurant
The restaurants are the lion d'or, which serves a formal a la carte menu.. The 'garden room' provides a more informal menu with a table d'hote menu as well as a carvery. There is also a library bar and lounge as well as a traditional English pub
rooms
The rooms are all of a good size, with garden views and have a traditional feel to them. There are all the facilities expected from this standard of hotel.
